Elephant Experience

Elephants –Tuesdays @ 1:30pm

Step into the world of an elephant keeper and see how they build relationships with our amazing elephants! Choose from one of three interactive opportunities as you hear stories about our herd, see them up close, and make memories with your friends and family. 

Bathe an elephant -$100.00/person

• Available through October 31
• Help scrub down one of our elephants and learn why elephant baths are so important for our herds’ health!

Paint with an elephant - $75.00/person

• Available year-round
• You choose your paint colors and hold the canvas while the elephant paints!

Create elephant enrichment - $65.00/person

• Available through October 31
• Assist our keepers in creating afternoon enrichment and help place it in the yard for the elephants to enjoy!

Details:

• All day Zoo admission is included for you to explore the Zoo before and after your experience.
• This experience is limited to guests ages six (6) and up. If participant is under the age of 12, an adult will need to be registered with them.
• This experience is limited to six (6) guests per behind-the-scenes tour. If you have fewer than six in your party, you may be joined by other registrations, not to exceed the six person total.
• For your safety, close-toed shoes are required.

Accessibility:

• Navigating Zoo pathways and standing for 45 minutes
• Unpaved surfaces including loose dirt and gravel
• Wheelchair accessible
• Strong odors and spontaneous animal vocalizations may occur

Ambassador Animal Add-on - $25.00/person

Extend your adventure with a Meet & Greet with a few of our Ambassador Animals! Interactions with ambassador animals will take place at 1:00pm prior to going to your final Behind-the-scenes destination.
