LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (August 11, 2026) – At the Little Rock Zoo, safety the animals in our care, our staff and guests is always our top priority. The weather forecast for the next several days shows temperatures climbing dangerously high, for that reason, the Little Rock Zoo will hold the following adjusted hours beginning Wednesday, August 12 and extending until August 31, 2026:
Zoo Open: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM | Last Admission 1:30 PM
Café Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Ride Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Gift Shop Hours: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
The Zoo will resume normal hours of operation on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. The decision to limit outdoor exposure during these hot hours was made for the well-being of staff, guests and animals.
