LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 22, 2026) – Due to next week’s excessive heat forecast, the Little Rock Zoo will be closed Sunday, July 26 to Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The Zoo will reopen on Sunday, August 2, 2026, with normal operating hours. The decision to limit outdoor exposure during these dangerously hot days was made for the well-being of staff, guests and animals.
We have been following the weather forecasts and weather advisories closely. We will continue to monitor the long-range weather forecast for changes. The safety of our guests, staff, and animals is our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Updates will be available through our Zoo Facebook page and Zoo website LIttleRockZoo.com.
