Do you offer discounts on GloWILD tickets?

GloWild is one of the Little Rock Zoo’s largest annual fundraisers, supporting animal care, conservation programs, educational experiences, and a brighter future for wildlife. Because proceeds directly support the Zoo’s mission, discounts for this special event are limited.

Members: Receive discounted admission with a valid Membership ID.

Family Value Pack: Save more than 20% when you purchase a 4-ticket bundle.
SNAP/EBT Recipients: Eligible for discounted tickets at the gate with a valid photo ID that matches the cardholder’s name.

Please note that Military and Senior discounts are not available for this event.

I have a group larger than four- how do I purchase tickets for everyone?

We recommend starting with the 4-ticket Family Value Pack to cover the first four guests, then adding individual tickets for any additional family members. This allows you to take advantage of the value pack while ensuring every guest has a ticket for GloWILD.

I purchased tickets for one night but can’t make it. Can I use them another night?

Yes, GloWILD tickets are valid any night the event is open.

To Change Your Ticket to Another Available Night: Go to the Tickets in your Eventbrite account, choose your order, and select Change ticket. Then choose Change event or date to change to a different date hosted by the the Little Rock Zoo/Arkansas Zoological Foundation.

I purchased a member ticket online- do I still need my Member ID?

Yes. Memberships will be verified at the entrance, and you’ll be asked to present your Member ID at check-in, just like you would during a regular Zoo visit. This helps us ensure that exclusive member pricing and benefits remain reserved for our Zoo members.

Is GloWILD every night?

No. GloWILD only runs on select nights throughout the season, visit the hours & pricing page for the full list of dates. The event is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

What is included with GloWILD admission?

In partnership with the internationally acclaimed Tianyu Arts & Culture, the Zoo is transformed into a glowing wonderland of handcrafted silk lanterns.

Each lantern is a work of art, built on a sturdy metal frame, carefully covered in silk, and illuminated from within. Together, these larger-than-life displays create a breathtaking journey of light, color, and imagination.

With admission to GloWILD, guests can:

What kinds of lanterns and displays can I expect to see at GloWILD?

At GloWILD, you’ll discover lanterns that bring the natural world to life- towering animals, colorful birds, exotic marine creatures, playful bugs, and even glowing flowers. Some of these lanterns reach up to 30 feet tall, while others stretch an incredible 30 to 45 feet long. Every piece is hand-crafted, covered in silk, and illuminated with brilliant LED lights. In total, more than half a million lights shine throughout the Zoo, creating a breathtaking holiday spectacle you won’t want to miss!

What makes GloWILD different from typical holiday light displays?

Unlike traditional holiday lights, which are strung along a tree, doorway, or decoration, GloWILD lanterns are fully three-dimensional works of art. Each lantern has its own structure, is covered in silk, and is illuminated from within, creating glowing sculptures that you can walk around and experience from every angle.

What happens if it rains of there is bad weather?

GloWild shines on-rain or moon glow! Dress for the weather and consider bringing umbrellas or rain jackets if needed. Tickets are valid for any night GloWILD is open until they are scanned for entry. Please note that once tickets have been checked in at the Zoo, they are non-refundable and cannot be reused.

In the unlikely event that severe weather makes it unsafe to proceed, we will communicate updates on our website and social media.

Do you have a Daily Pass that covers both daytime admission and GloWILD?

No. Zoo admission and GloWILD admission are separate tickets.

Can I visit the Zoo during the day and stay for GloWILD at night?

Yes, you’re more than welcome to enjoy both experiences in the same day! However, all guests must exit the Zoo when it closes at 4:00 PM so our team can prepare for the event. GloWILD opens at 5:00 PM, and you may re-enter at that time with your GloWILD tickets. Please note that there is no combined day/night pass, do daytime admission and GloWILD admission must be purchased separately.

Will I see animals at GloWILD?

GloWild is all about the glow! During this special nighttime event, our larger-than-life lanterns take center stage, transforming the Zoo into a dazzling illuminated experience.

Most of our animals will not be visible during GloWild. They’ve been busy being Zoo animals all day, and nighttime is their chance to rest, relax, and settle into their evening routines. To give them the quiet time they deserve, not all areas of the Zoo are open during GloWild.

While you may spot an animal or two along the way, we recommend visiting during regular Zoo hours if seeing our living animals is at the top of your list. At GloWild, come ready to experience the lanterns, lights, and nighttime magic!
