Celebrate International Maned Wolf Day at the Zoo!
Maned wolves are one of the most unique and fascinating canids in the world. Known for their long legs, reddish fur, and large, bat-like ears, these elusive creatures are often misunderstood. Native to South America, maned wolves play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of their ecosystems. Unfortunately, they are facing threats from habitat loss and human-wildlife conflict.
