The Diamond Express Train is a replica of an 1863 locomotive, specifically a C.P. Huntington™ Train, designed to scale. With its vintage charm, it offers a nostalgic ride that delights guests of all ages.

The Arkansas Diamond Express Train, a cherished attraction at the Little Rock Zoo, has been delighting visitors since its debut in 2014. Thanks to the dedicated fundraising efforts of the Arkansas Zoological Foundation, the train tracks around the Zoo were revamped to accommodate this charming addition.
Since 2003, the Arkansas Zoological Foundation has helped make projects like the Diamond Express Train, Arkansas Heritage Farm, Cheetah Outpost, and Penguin Pointe a reality—transforming the Zoo into a place where animals thrive and visitors connect with wildlife in meaningful ways.
The Foundation is currently raising funds for the Zoo’s new front entrance project, Project Zoo: Wildly Reimagined, which will feature exciting new exhibits and guest experiences. Your continued support makes these milestones possible and helps the Little Rock Zoo grow, inspire, and protect wildlife for generations to come.

New Lanterns. New Magic. Same Unforgettable Tradition.
