Celebrate Their Birthday with a Trip to the Zoo!

Celebrating a birthday? Children ages 3–12 receive free Zoo admission anytime during their birthday month with the purchase of an adult ticket. When you arrive, simply let the attendant at the entrance know it’s your child’s birthday and let the adventure begin. Each birthday kid will receive a celebratory birthday button to wear during their visit—letting staff and guests know they’re celebrating a special day.

Birthday Party Options at the Zoo

As of the end of 2023, the Zoo no longer offers birthday party packages. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our animal residents, we kindly ask that outside food, drinks, balloons, and ice chests be left at home or enjoyed outside of the Zoo.

If you’d like to celebrate with a group visit, consider booking group admission. Many families also enjoy using our picnic area(s) just outside the Zoo entrance for treats and meals. Please keep in mind that this space cannot be reserved or decorated.

For a more private experience, the Civitan Pavilion is available for rental on a limited basis at a rate of $1000 for a 4-hour minimum. This includes both setup and teardown time, with additional fees for extra time beyond the initial 4 hours. Catering is allowed with prior approval and a signed catering agreement. Outside food and drinks are not permitted unless catering is arranged. Please also note that there is no heated or cooled food storage available on-site.
