Option 1: Party on the Path Picnic-Sunday, April 7th

The Little Rock Zoo would like to invite Eclipse loving guests from near and far to have a day at the Zoo that is full of good food, fun games and local entertainment! We will also have keeper chats and animal enrichment opportunities throughout the day! You may even get to meet a few of our Ambassador Animals in person!

The Great American Eclipse will be Monday, April 8, 2024, but we are inviting you to this pre-party on Sunday, April 7. 2024! The Little Rock Zoo will be one of the greatest places to view the solar eclipse in Central Arkansas. Your pre-purchased ticket includes Zoo admission on Sunday, April 7. 2024, and eclipse glasses that will allow you to view the solar eclipse safely on April 8, 2024 from a venue of your choice.

Guests can pre-purchase admission tickets that include a picnic served in the Civitan Pavilion catered by Adam’s Catfish from 10:30AM to 2:30PM --

Option 2: The Pull Up on the Path Tailgate Party – Monday, April 8th

The Pull Up on the Path Tailgate Party is an exclusive event hosted by the Little Rock Zoo in the Gated Private Lot on Zoo grounds. Limited tickets offer guests guaranteed parking in the secured lot. Guests are invited to bring tents, stadium chairs and yard blankets to set-up and watch the eclipse in this gated area or join us in the Zoo as we watch with the animals! The Zoo will serve a continental breakfast that morning that will include mimosas and Bloody Mary's and a lunch catered by Adam's Catfish under the Eclipse Hospitality Tent.

Come enjoy great food, local entertainment, learn about solar eclipses from guest experts and watch this memorable phenomenon. Zoo admission gives guests the opportunity to watch with resident animals to see how they react to this miracle of Mother Nature.

The eclipse begins in Little Rock at 12:33PM with maximum totality at 1:52PM and ends at 3:11PM. Little Rock is estimated to have total obscurity of the sun for several minutes. The total duration of the eclipse is estimated at 2 hours and 38 minutes! The last total eclipse crossing Arkansas was in 1918 and the next one will be in 2045.

* Limited tickets are available - purchase now!* -- Parking is NOT guaranteed for this event and is first come first serve! We expect a large turnout for this event and other event happening in and around War Memorial Park so please plan accordingly.
