World Lemur Day 2023

We are celebrating World Lemur Day at the Little Rock Zoo!  

Did you know that Madagascar is the only place lemurs naturally call home?  Did you know that there are over 100 species of lemur? (The Little Rock Zoo has three species.) Did you know that besides humans, lemurs are the only primates that have blue eyes? Lemurs are the largest pollinators on the planet, and they most endangered group of mammals. 

Learn interesting facts like these and more on Saturday, October 28, 2023 on World Lemur Day, at the Zoo.

The activities are included in the cost of admission and will feature:

9:00AM to 12:00PM - education table with activities in lemur area
