World Lemur Day 2021

Dates: 10/30/2021 - 10/30/2021
Times: All day

We are celebrating World Lemur Day at the Little Rock Zoo!

Zoo staff and Zoo docents will be on hand to host activities and answer questions about lemurs.

Did you know that Madagascar is the only place lemurs naturally call home?  Did you know that there are over 100 species of lemur? (The Little Rock Zoo has three species.) Did you know that besides humans, lemurs are the only primates that have blue eyes?

Learn interesting facts like these and more on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Zoo.

The activities are included in the cost of admission.  We will have:

9:30 AM                    Gibbon baby (Goblin's) birthday celebration

10:00 AM - 3:00 PM   Informational talks and demonstrations at lemur island

11:00 AM                  Training demonstration

2:00 PM                    Halloween-themed enrichment

Come learn why this animal is so important and how you can help them at the Little Rock Zoo!

* Please confirm directly with the promoter or box office to ensure event details have not changed.
