It's Bear Awareness Week  here again and we have several fun things for you to come and enjoy! Each day, we will have an education table with crafts and activities for you to learn more about bears.  Each day will have a new focus about this exciting animal. 

Monday, May 16- Focus on the grizzly bears 

We begin the week learning about bear safety.  Find out how to stay safe during camping and on hikes.

Tuesday, May 17- Focus on the sloth bears and other bear species. 

Come learn more about these two brothers and all the other eight species of bear: polar bear, black bears, brown bears, giant pandas, sun bears, Andean bears, and Asiatic black bears.

The Little Rock Zoo partners with Wildlife SOS, an organization working to protect and conserve sloth bears in India.
