Join central Arkansas and the Little Rock Zoo as it celebrates a new holiday: 501 Day, to take place on 5/01 – May 1^st, 2021.

Most people know 501 as the area code for central Arkansas. Over the years, 501 has come to represent much more than just part of a phone number; 501 has become a symbol of a beautiful, bustling region in the heart of Arkansas.

The Downtown Little Rock Partnership, together with other cities, chambers of commerce, and community organizations throughout central Arkansas, created 501 Day to celebrate the region they are proud to call home. The Little Rock Zoo is proud to be a part of this first time event to bring awareness to all of the great features of the central part of our Arkansas- especially your Little Rock Zoo!  

501 Day at the Little Rock Zoo will feature Live Music at the Elephant Stage from 10:30am to 1:30pm to include the Darn Country Band. 

We will have lunch specials for $5.01 that will feature hot dogs, chips, and a canned beverage.  We will have entertainment for the family to enjoy and of course the animals! Come celebrate central Arkansas with us at your Little Rock Zoo!
