School Group Rates and Information

A limited number of school group admissions are available on a first-come, first-served basis Monday - Friday.

The Zoo opens at 9 am year-round. The Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

To qualify for the group rate you must:

1. Have a minimum of 15 paying individuals.
2. Have a minimum of one adult chaperone for every 10 students.
3. Make school group reservations at least 10 days in advance.
4. To make reservations for education classes and tours, call (501) 666-2406 ext. 124.
5. Sorry, individual and family memberships are NOT accepted for group admission rates.

All registered groups will receive a letter confirming details of the planned visit. School group admission is $4 per visitor (including students, teachers, parents, adult chaperones and bus drivers). You may pay with cash (no coins, please), VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or school check upon entering the Zoo.

Groups should assign one leader who will greet Zoo staff on arrival and who will collect all of your group's admission money BEFORE arriving at the Zoo. (This includes money from all teachers, chaperones, bus drivers, children, and any visiting parents entering with your group.)

Please do NOT assemble your group under the admission dome. A designated staging area for groups helps keep entrances clear and safe. Upon arrival please follow the instructions of the Zoo staff; this will expedite your entry into the Zoo. Your group will be officially counted as you enter the Zoo; everyone must enter at the same time.

The Little Rock Zoo will give no refunds.

Parking

Buses must park in the "Bus Parking Lot" between Zoo Drive and Monroe Street. Individual cars may park in the MAIN Zoo Lot just to the north of Zoo Drive and behind War Memorial Stadium.

Classes and tours must be scheduled at least 3 weeks in advance; call (501) 666-2406 ext. 124.

Plan for your group to arrive at the Zoo at least 15 minutes before your assigned time.

Please make every effort to call the Zoo at (501) 666-2406 if your group will arrive late. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we reserve the right to cancel or adjust program length depending on the availability of staff.
