Wildest Classroom in Town
We make visiting the Zoo fun! Our onsite classes range from 30 minutes to over
one hour depending on the program. Cost is $2 per person (adult or child) in addition to the
group rate admission. Zoo education programs are available year-round and must be scheduled
at least three weeks before your visit. Reserve early as classes fill quickly. Minimum class
size is 15. Here is a list of topics to choose from.

Guided tours
Our guided tours are set up for first grade through adults, and you must
make a reservation at least 3 weeks in advance. The program lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We offer our General Tour, which touches a wide variety of the zoo animal collection, as
well as more specialized tours such as Habitats and Adaptations, Endangered Species, Reptiles
Only, Mammals Only, Birds Only, and Continent Oriented. We can also adapt the tour to meet
your content needs. Minimum charge for this program is $2.00 per individual PLUS the cost
of your group admission rate.
